I saw their work on a large lathe cutting a metal part. I asked what I will be doing and was told cutting parts. I said I had a million machine licence but that some to hing I did at hight school. I said at Solectron I was running projects in administration as well as in a production floor. I said thai I don't think they can match my rate and this end it. then I was explaining to my mom that the work they has was similar to what she did but the machines are much larger .
Dreams about job interviews often reflect your current thoughts and feelings about your career and self-worth. Here's a detailed interpretation of your dream:
Returning to a Familiar Place: You mentioned being in a building where you used to work 15 years ago. This suggests a reflection on your past, possibly evaluating how far you've come in your career. The return to a familiar environment signifies a need for comfort or security, or perhaps it indicates unfinished business in your professional life.
Transformation of Companies: The transition of the company from Solectron to Celestica in your dream might indicate your awareness of change and transformation, both in the business world and perhaps within yourself. It could signify adaptation or the merging of past experiences with current expectations.
Working with Machines: Seeing yourself discussed in the context of operating machines (a lathe) might symbolize the technical skills and fundamentals you possess. Mentioning a "million machine licence" from high school may suggest hidden talents or potentials that you haven't fully utilized in your career, or it could reflect nostalgia for simpler times when your skills were directly applicable.
Dialogue on Skills and Worth: The conversation you had about your previous responsibilities at Solectron and doubts about matching your rate reflect self-assessment of your value and worth. This part of the dream can illustrate your confidence in your professional skills, but also the struggle of aligning your self-worth with market demands or current job opportunities.
Talking to Your Mom: Explaining your job to your mother could symbolize seeking validation or support from family members regarding your career choices. It might highlight your desire for their understanding of your professional life and aspirations.
Comparison to Mother’s Work: Comparing the work to what your mother did could indicate inherited values and learned skills that contribute to your identity and career path. It may also suggest admiration for her or a measure against her accomplishments, using them as a benchmark for your success or career choices.
Overall, this dream suggests a period of introspection about past career paths, evaluating your current skills and personal worth, and seeking understanding and validation. Changes and transitions are central themes, as is the weighing of potential opportunities against past experiences and future aspirations.
